David Bornheimer

David Bornheimer joined Midland Loan Services in 2003 and is a Senior Asset Manager in Midland's Real Estate Solutions Department. Mr. Bornheimer has resolved over $1B in commercial real estate loans in his tenure at Midland across all property types throughout the United States. Mr. Bornheimer has experience in all aspects of non-performing loan management, from single asset full recourse loans, to complex CMBS structures with multiple debt tranches. His work-out expertise includes borrower/guarantor negotiations, modifications, note sale initiatives, receivership sales with assumption financing, pursuit of legal remedies including judicial foreclosure actions, receiverships, guarantor lawsuits, and bankruptcy. Mr. Bornheimer has experience with both CMBS distressed loans, private client portfolio loan work-outs, and asset management of REO dispositions. In addition to managing a portfolio of distressed loans, responsibilities include managing a team of loan workout asset managers, maintaining client relationships, and performing due diligence for clients on defaulted loan portfolio transactions and new CMBS issuance.

Mr. Bornheimer holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Missouri State University.
