David Nass
David Nass is the Head of Capital Markets- Real Estate Finance for UBS. Prior to UBS, he was Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and Head of CMBS Banking. In this role, Mr. Nass was responsible for, among other things, managing Morgan Stanley's principal and agent CMBS new issue partnerships, representing borrower clients to resolve their existing CMBS loans, and creating structured solutions around commercial mortgage portfolios held by clients.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Nass was a Managing Director at DTZ Rockwood where he led the firm's debt restructuring and loan sale advisory initiatives. Before working at DTZ Rockwood, Mr. Nass was a Managing Director and Head of CMBS Banking at Lehman Brothers, where he oversaw the development and distribution of more than $95 billion of fixed and floating rate securitizations. Prior to joining Lehman in 2001, he was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan, where he securitized more than $4 billion of fixed and floating rate product. Mr. Nass holds a B.S. in Marketing/Management from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
