Jeannette DeLaGarza

Jeannette DeLaGarza is a senior vice president and Chief Operating Officer of the Commercial ORE Division of the Wells Fargo Wholesale Workout Group. Commercial ORE is responsible for the acquisition, management and disposition of commercial real estate assets acquired through foreclosure, deed-in-lieu of foreclosure or other settlement agreements. The ORE team is responsible for a commercial real estate portfolio located nationwide and comprising all property types including land, office, retail, multi-family, industrial, hospitality, residential tracts and others.

Prior to joining Commercial ORE, Jeannette was the head of Wholesale University, a division within Wholesale Bank Credit Administration. She was responsible for this division that delivers training programs to develop the credit management skills of financial analysts, relationship managers and other credit practitioners in Wells Fargo Wholesale Bank. The objectives of Wholesale University's credit training and professional development programs are aligned with Wholesale Bank's lines of business including commercial banking, corporate banking, commercial real estate, international trade finance, global banking, asset-based lending, investment banking and capital markets.

Jeannette served as managing director and head of Wells Fargo Commercial Mortgage Servicing from 1995 to 2005 and was responsible for a $50 billion CMBS and institutional investor-owned commercial real estate loan portfolio. She was responsible for the master, primary and special servicing functions for the highly-rated Wells Fargo Commercial Mortgage Servicing division.

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, banking, finance, and learning and development, Jeannette assumed her current role in 2010. Jeannette holds a bachelor's degree in finance from San Jose State University and master's degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco. Jeannette is a graduate of Wells Fargo's Credit Management Training Program.

With a strong commitment to the community, Jeannette serves as finance chairperson of the School Board of the Catholic Schools Diocese of Oakland and as finance chairperson of the Athletic Booster Board of Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland, California.
