Keynote Speakers Announced

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 1, 2011) -- Registration is now open for the 11th annual Trigild Lender Conference, which this year will feature two influential keynote speakers: Norm Miller, Ph.D., a professor of real estate at the University of San Diego (USD) and noted sustainable real estate/green building expert and internationally renowned economist and capital and credit markets expert, San Chandan, Ph.D.
This year's conference is themed "Exiting the Storm: Leading Edge Strategies for Lenders and Distressed Loan Buyers," and will be held October 19-21, 2011, at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in downtown San Diego.
Event headliners Miller and Chandan will bring a wealth of commercial real estate expertise and insights to the event, which last year attracted more than 450 commercial real estate and finance industry leaders. A renowned author and speaker, Miller is also editor of the Journal of Sustainable Real Estate and co-founder of Collateral Intelligence -- a firm specializing in micro-level housing market analysis. He previously served as vice president of analytics for the CoStar Group, a public commercial real estate data and market analysis company headquartered in Washington, D.C. Chandan is an influential real estate analyst whose insights into residential and commercial markets, capital and credit markets and the global economy have been covered in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg News and CNBC, among others. An adjunct professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he also heads Chandan Economics, a leader in the analysis of the economy and financial and credit markets as they relate to commercial real estate.
The three-day event will also feature a roster of expert panelists specializing in all areas of commercial loan recovery and examining topics such as workouts of complex deal structures, foreclosures, receivership, rescue financing and bankruptcy.
