Pat Galvin

J. Patrick Galvin has over 25 years of real estate experience and has been employed by LNR Property LLC for the past ten years. Mr. Galvin is responsible for managment of all legal matters for the LNR Commercial Property Group division, including investment funds, real estate transactions, joint ventures (including multi-investor funds), litigation matters and oversight of outside counsel. Mr. Galvin also works extensively with the various U.S. regional offices of the Commercial Property Group and sits on the group's Investment Committee. Prior to his appointment as General Counsel, Mr. Galvin acted as Senior Vice President responsible for the placement and structuring of LNR's multi-family institutional investment funds. During his career, Mr. Galvin has served in both senior executive and general counsel positions for several real estate investment and development companies, including PNC Banks' Affordable Housing Group, and practiced real estate transactional law with the firm of Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble, Mallory & Natsis, LLP. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame School of Law, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego, magna cum laude. Mr. Galvin has been a frequent speaker and panelist in numerous real estate and real estate finance conferences over the past decade.
